Overall we had a great time and the condo was clean and convenient. Washer and dryer, garbage and recycling are just down the hall by the elevators, but you have to buy the tokens downstairs at the front desk. The were more than enough towels, but only two little bars of soap, no shampoo or conditioner. The kitchen was well stocked with basic things so you can easily cook there if you bring your own food. We stayed at the beach most of the time anyway.
2 on each bed and 2 on the pull-out sofa. They sent someone to look at it, but they didn’t return. One of the sliding doors that separates the room is off of its hinge so it has to remain stationary. While we were there, the ice maker in the freezer wasn’t working, and the air conditioner in the main room wasn’t working part of the time. Three boogie boards, two beach chairs, and other beach toys were in the front closet. The room is beautiful and has a great view. Overall we had a very enjoyable and memorable time. Communication and instructions from the management company was very good. There’s a grocery store just a couple miles down the road.

Having a full kitchen was very nice as eating out on the island can be very expensive. The sea is so close that guests can literally fall. Renovated in 2008, it's a well-maintained property in an affordable beachfront location. Laundry is not in the unit - it is in a shared area next the elevators, which worked out better than expected. The Mana Kai Maui is a condominium hotel that offers modern facilities and a central location just outside of downtown Kihei, making this property a good base for tourists, families, and business travelers. There is a nice lawn area under palm trees to set out a lounge chair, relax, and listen to waves. The on-site amenities were wonderful - nice pool, general store, equipment rental, concierge who can help arrange activities, and restaurant. The views from the lanai are amazing - a great place to spend early mornings before sunrise and evenings after sunset there.
